Modern technology has revolutionized how we live and collaborate. 🤝 It's become an integral part of our daily routines, seamlessly woven into our lives. For me, this rapid transformation offers the chance to contribute and enhance lives in a field I'm truly passionate about. ❤️ But beyond convenience, technology holds the key to sustainability. 🌱 It empowers us to alter our current trajectory and ✨ make the world a better place ✨. Together with others, I'm eager to embark on a journey to embrace these advancements and pave the way for a better tomorrow.
In June 2024 I received my Abitur at Schule Birklehof. 🎓 With 887 out of 900 points I was best of the year and had the maximum grade of 1,0. In October, I am going to start my dual curriculum at the DHBW in the subject of Cybersecurity 🌐. As part of the curriculum I am thrilled to be working with one of the largest critical infrastructure providers in Germany – the Deutsche Bahn 🚄. I am really excited about this chance and hope to be able to learn a lot while also contributing to a more modern, more reliable, more efficient German railway infrastructure 🛤️.
Since summer 2024 I've set out to self-host my infrastructure and to use free and open source software where possible. I started by moving my calendars, contacts and tasks from Google to a Radicale Server. Since then I've also moved from Google Drive to Syncthing, started using Keypass and switched from Notion to Obsidian.
Over the course of my three years at Birklehof School, I developed a wide range of software projects, from a simple digital art gallery to a full-scale web application that helps track the laps for our annual charity run. The various projects associated with this effort can be found in our GitHub organization. Since my Abitur 2024 I've been maintaining the most important of these projects, mainly the 24-Stunden-Lauf App.

The platform encompassed everything from the project postings to the allocation of the students, enhancing communication and efficiency. The application marks an important milestone for me as my first large-scale project and introduction to web development.
